| Supporters Volunteer Your Time Whether it's two hours a week or 1 day a month or more, we can use your special skills in office support, coaching, teaching classes in financial management, leadership, dance, arts/crafts, tutoring, landscaping, etc --We require all potential volunteers to get finger printed and to obtain a criminal background clearance. To volunteer at our Silver Spring Club, call 301-593-4600 and ask for Warrick Cromer. To volunteer at our Germantown Club, call 301- and ask for Phil McManus. Adopt A Club Get your organization to officially adopt one of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Whether your company sponsors a basketball league or a field trip to a ball game or a theatre production, everything counts! Other ideas for adoption are sponsorship of holiday parties or teen lock-ins or an outing to an amusement. Corporations can offer mentors, tutors, coaches or assistance with annual fundraisers (stuffing envelopes, for example).
